Hello Everyone,
I’m Betty Beeson, born and raised in Wayne Co., IL.
Some of you know me personally and others through direct research
requests and purchasers of my research books, of which 29 have been
printed on
Besides doing genealogy, I love spending time in my flower gardens, getting acquainted with my digital camera, canning in the summer, and going to old out of the way cemeteries no longer in use, trying to find buried tombstones, cleaning, marking and taking photos of them.

One of many flower beds located at my home.

My Great-Granddaughter said, “Oops here comes the little butterfly back.”
Our great-granddaughter takes priority over everything. She is the love of our lives and we so cherish every moment we can be with her. Such a sweet, bright, intelligent, little girl. She just turned 8 but to us will always be our “little bit”.
My Published Books I will Reprint and their Prices
I still do research for a fee. Just for everyone’s reference not all records burned in the court house fire. Wayne County Circuit Clerk’s records begin in the 1800’s. For a year now the old records are being laminated and will be stored away in the basement. Records will eventually be put on CD’s.
